The all-black Casio G-Shock Limited Edition G-5600BG-1ER Surfrider Foundation collaboration is a limited edition digital watch that honours the G-SHOCK watches by using recycled polyurethane in the watch's case and strap. The leftover resin has been ground and kneaded into a reusable matte black base, giving the watch a unique and subtle look. Due to the colour characteristics of this material, each watch is unique and the surface of the case and strap have individual differences in patterns and shades.

Casio G-Shock Limited Edition G-5600SRF-1ER Surfrider Foundation collaboration is equipped with Tough Solar solar movement, which charges the watch using sunlight. The watch has a thin and lightweight resin case measuring 43.2 mm in width and 12.7 mm in thickness and weighs 47 grams. The strap is made of resin and measures 145 - 205 mm in length. The negatice LCD features world time, alarm, chronograph, automatic calendar, 12/24h, date and day of the week display. The Casio G-Shock Limited Edition G-5600SRF-1ER is water resistant to 200m/20atm, making it suitable for swimming and diving.
