Made in Japan, this Casio MRG Shougeki Maru: Gai 40th Anniversary Limited Edition MRG-B2000SG-1ADR is a G-SHOCK anniversary model that combines Japanese craftsmanship, specially crafted metals and the uncompromising spirit of the Japanese warriors, the samurai. The watch is inspired by the kabuto helmet, part of the samurai costume. The watch's white fluoro rubber strap is adorned with pure white GAI, a shade that in Japan represents genuine purity and strength of mind. The surface pattern on the bracelet is inspired by the Samurai armour. The body of the watch is finished with a hand-engraved tiger pattern by master metalsmith KOBAYASHI Masao. Each engraving is unique. The whole is completed by four Kyocera laboratory rubies that glow on the watch body and a special AIP® coating that gives the watch its unique colour.
