Garmin UltraFit gray nylon strap 26 mm 010-13075-00

Garmin UltraFit nylon strap grey 26 mm 010-13075-00 is really light and comfortable to wear. The strap is attached by twisting the ends underneath the spring pins. There are stickers on both ends of the wristband, which are then twisted closed. The UltraFit nylon strap has a flexible, double-layer, antimicrobial nylon weave that wicks away moisture easily.

Use and maintenance

We recommend that you clean the nylon belt regularly to prevent the build-up of sweat or other dirt. Wash the belt by hand with cold water. You can remove caked-on dirt or stains with mild soap. Rinse thoroughly with clean water and allow to dry completely before use. The body of the watch can be rinsed with water or cleaned with a damp lint-free cloth.

Garmin watch straps should be loose enough to allow for movement on the wrist. However, wrist heart rate monitors should be worn tighter on the wrist during exercise. Rinse the watch thoroughly and allow it to dry after exposure to sweat during exercise or water during swimming or showering. Prolonged exposure to moisture may irritate the skin during use. Also remember to allow the skin to rest occasionally, e.g. by moving the watch from one wrist to the other. Avoid the following chemicals to prevent surface changes and skin irritation: insect repellents, moisturisers and emulsions, greases, perfumes, hand lotions, soaps, sunscreens.

Note: If you follow the above tips, using your Garmin watch should not cause any problems. However, if your skin becomes red or irritated, stop using the watch until your skin heals. Thoroughly clean the watch and strap according to the appropriate use and maintenance instructions. If symptoms persist, consult your doctor or dermatologist.
