The earring features a beautiful and delicate lace-like filigree pattern and a sturdy pin fastening. Kalevala Filigree gold earrings are handcrafted in Finland from recycled 14 karat gold.

The series designed by Tiina Arkko embodies the designer's vision of timeless and minimalist jewellery. In the 1700s, filigree rings were favoured by the wealthy ruling class and were first introduced from Sweden to the coastal towns of Western Finland, along with new ideas and styles. The Kalevala collection has featured jewellery designed on the basis of filigree rings since the 1960s.
