Kalevala Planetoid valleys necklace silver 2351010

The iconic Kalevala Planetoid Valleys 2351010 silver necklace is designed by Björn Weckström, and is a masterpiece of Finnish jewellery design that has been loved by many generations. The collier necklace, also know as the Princess Leia ceremonia necklace, is surrounded by matt, beautifully patterned silver pendants that wrap around the piece. The width of the collier necklace is 25 mm. The necklace is made at the Kalevala factory in Finland from 99% recycled silver, and is available in two different lengths.

Planetoid Valleys came to international attention in 1977, when the jewellery appeared in the final scene of the Star Wars film over Princess Leia. The collier was originally designed for the Space Silver collection. The jewellery, which has achieved cult status, has been seen at various galas, ceremonies and at the Independence Day celebrations at the Finnish Presidential castle.
