Luminox Bear Grylls Survival ECO 42 mm, Rule of 3 3729.ECO meets all the requirements of a good outdoor watch. The watch is made by Luminox, a Swiss company specializing in tactical watches and watches that have to work in extreme conditions. The watch was designed in collaboration with Bear Grylls, the survivalist from the adventure series. The case is equipped with a Swiss quartz movement and the dial is protected by a mineral glass. The Luminox Light Technology (LLT) luminescent technology on the dial ensures 25 years of uninterrupted glow-in-the-dark indexes and hands, guaranteeing visibility even in poor conditions. The hour-markers are bright green in color. The minute hand and the indications at 12 o'clock on the dial and the rotating bezel glow orange. The uni-directional turning bezel has a special diving zone count up marking, set off by a different color for easy reading.

As well as being durable and versatile, the watch has been made with the environment in mind. This ecological watch is made from sea plastic collected off the coast of Thailand. That waste material has been refined in a Swiss laboratory into Luminox's own #tide material, and the watch case is made from 100% recycled, reused plastic. The rubber strap also features Bear Grylls' Rule of 3 guide to surviving in harsh conditions. Overall, the watch body is well proportioned for a tactical watch, and is only 42 mm wide and 14mm thick, making it comfortable to wear. Beneath the mineral glass on the dial is the Bear Grylls motto "NEVER GIVE UP". The screw-down back cover, combined with a water resistance of 200 m, ensures that the watch will stand up well to the harshest of extreme conditions whether you are on land, at sea or in the air. The watch weighs 77 grams.
