Polar Vantage M3 Greige Gold - A powerful and compact multi-sport watch
The Polar Vantage M3 Greige Gold is a smart sports watch that combines the durable design of the Polar Outdoor range with the performance of Polar's flagship models, suitable for the versatile athlete from amateur to professional. The Vantage M3 sports watch features a 1.28-inch AMOLED touchscreen with Gorilla Glass 3 for shock protection, a plastic body and a stainless steel bezel. The body measures 44.7 mm in width and 12.2 mm in thickness, making the smartwatch very comfortable and compact to hold on the wrist. It comes with two different lengths of silicone strap, S (130 - 190 mm) and M-L (145 - 215 mm). Sporty and quick-fastening, the silicone strap attaches to the watch for quick and easy replacement at any time. The bracelets are 22 mm wide at the attachment point and the replaceable battery, designed for durability, extends the life of the watch. The watch battery lasts up to 7 days without a break; 30 hours in training mode, 70 hours in power saving mode and 7 days in smartwatch mode. Polar Vantage M3 is waterproof up to 50 metres.
Polar Elixir for health
Polar Elixir biomonitoring technology processes and analyses data generated by the body, giving the best and clearest insight into your current health status. The new fourth-generation optical sensor is designed to reduce interference from motion and light leakage and improve efficiency to provide accurate heart rate readings around the clock. Place your finger on the unlock button to get an ECG in seconds, anytime, anywhere. You'll also learn more about your cardiovascular health and recovery. The ECG function allows you to perform an orthostatic test without a chest monitor. The wrist ECG allows you to record your heart rate and heart rate variations to help you determine the balance between exercise and recovery.
The SpO2 sensor measures the amount of oxygen circulating in your blood, a key indicator of overall well-being. SpO2 readings also indicate your ability to exercise at a high pace. You can measure your blood oxygen saturation at any time, but you can also get automatic measurements at night while you sleep. Nocturnal changes in skin temperature can indicate future or existing illness, but with Polar Vantage M3 you can monitor your temperature during the night and get daily data that you can compare to the monthly average. For women, tracking changes in skin temperature can provide insights for monitoring your menstrual cycle.
Sleep tracking
The best-in-class sleep tracking tools in the Polar Vantage M3 sports watch give you a complete analysis of your body's recovery during the night. Sleep Plus stages automatically track the amount and quality of your sleep, showing how long you spent in each sleep stage. Sleep Gate predicts the time when your body is ready to fall asleep and Sleep Wise helps you understand how sleep affects your alertness levels during the day. In addition to the amount and quality of your recent sleep, the Polar Vantage M3 also takes into account the impact of your sleep rhythm. Nightly Recharge is an overnight automatic recovery meter that shows how well your body has coped with the general stress you've recently experienced, which could be due to work, family, relationships, environment, lifestyle, exercise, etc. Your nightly recharge status is based on two components: how you slept and how well your autonomic nervous system calmed down during early sleep. Both components are constructed by comparing your last night to your normal levels over the last 28 days. By using these sleep tracking apps, you can easily get an idea of the level and quality of your sleep and improve your sleep habits.
Polar Flow and smart exercise programmes
Polar Vantage M3 includes Polar Flow's extensive workout planning and analysis tools, providing you with automated workout diaries, progress reports and more. You can customize your watch with over 150 detailed sport profiles, tailored to your needs and preferences for your favorite sport. FitSpark provides personalized daily workout suggestions based on the user's physical condition and fitness level, and FuelWise & Energy Sources fueling assistant gives you carbohydrate and drink reminders during long workouts. 24/7 activity tracking automatically measures every step and movement and displays movement reminders, daily activity goals and calories burned.
Polar Smart Coaching helps you train smarter with personalized sports science-enabled coaching. The Polar Vantage M3 supports four different running workouts, (5K, 10K, half marathon or marathon), and creates a personalized training plan that fits your goals. The Running Index provides valuable information about your maximum aerobic running performance. The calculation is based on heart rate and speed data measured during the run. Vantage M3 also automatically recognises your swimming style and measures your distance, pace, strokes and rest periods. The Work-rest guide analyses your heart rate during activity and rest periods and gives you personalised advice on when to start exercising again. At the end of all your sport and exercise, the Serene app helps you relax your body and calm your mind with a guided breathing exercise.
Dual-GPS and navigation apps
When you go for a run, the Polar Vantage M3's dual-frequency GPS shows your exact location with full-color, downloadable offline topographic maps with detailed route directions and advanced outdoor training metrics. The dual-frequency GPS avoids location tracking interference from tall buildings, dense forests or extreme conditions, providing an accurate positioning experience and precise speed, distance and route information anywhere. The watch comes with pre-installed maps for Europe and North America. Free additional regions and continents are available for download from Polar Flow. With the Komoot app, you can get real-time step-by-step route guidance while on the move, and with the Strava Premium subscription, you can access Strava's route planner. You can either create a new route or take a car route uploaded by a friend and turn it into a jogging route. The Hill Splitter app automatically detects all ups and downs using your GPS-based speed, distance and barometric altitude data. Measure the speed at which you ascend or descend to get more accurate information about your movements as you train over varied terrain.
