Pook Watches X Nightwish Yesterwynde Limited Edition is a collaboration between Pook and Finnish metal band Nightwish. Only 500 pieces have been produced in a limited edition.
It all started when watchmaker Jani Ikonen and Tuomas Holopainen from Nightwish discussed whether they could do something interesting together. The idea of a mechanical watch that links an Antikythera emerged. Antikythera is considered the oldest computer ever created and it is at least 2000 years old. It is used to calculate astronomical positions. This ancient device was recovered from the bottom of the sea and scientists from all over the world have been trying to find out its characteristics. Based on this, Jani Ikonen started building a watch based on the concept. The case of this wristwatch is 41 mm wide and 13 mm thick, and is made of brushed stainless steel. Under the sapphire crystal an impressive dial can be found. The movement is a 21-jewel automatic Miyota 82S7. The Pook Watches X Nightwish Yesterwynde Limited Edition is water resistant to 100m/10atm. The watch is suitable for diving and snorkelling, not for deep diving. Finnish Pookwatches watches have a 3-year warranty.
