The mechanism of the U-BOAT Capsoil Chrono DLC 8109/B is fully immersed in a low viscosity oil, which also gives the dial a sense of depth and brightens the dial for improved legibility. The impression of depth is completed by an air bubble on the dial, which moves on the dial as the wrist moves, giving the impression that the entire watch is underwater.
In the depths, the strikingly large beige superluminova treated indexes and hands shine against the black background, and the glass is scratch-resistant convex sapphire glass. The U-BOAT Capsoil Chrono DLC 8109/B wristwatch features not only a traditional time display but also a chronograph. The 45 mm wide steel case is made of ASTM International AISI-standardised surgical steel and the surface is DLC-treated, giving the case a very tough surface. The strap is made of vulcanised rubber. The operating temperature range of the watch is 0-60 degrees Celsius.
