The LZ 127 Graf Zeppelin was the most important airship model, and between 1900 and 1938 Zeppelin GmbH built more than 100 airships and 27 different versions of this airship. The Zeppelin LZ127 Graf Zeppelin 8668-5 wristwatch is a tribute to the LZ 127 model, with a classic design and a 21-jewel automatic movement of the 8217 calibre. The watch has a 40 mm wide round case with a hand-carved Zeppelin shape on the side of the case, and the back of the watch has a skeleton background revealing the mechanism. The black dial is decorated with cream-coloured luminescent hands and numerals, and features a date and 24-hour hand. The stylish look is completed by a hand-stitched brown calfskin bracelet measuring 17-21.5 cm in length.
